Bluegrass Area Development District Announces Board Appointments and Executive Committee for 2026

Central Region, Kentucky— The Bluegrass Area Development District (BGADD), announced on Wednesday, November 5th during their Annual Board Meeting, the appointment of new appointments to the BGADD Board of Directors and officers to its Executive Committee for 2026. These leaders bring diverse experience, dedication, and a shared vision for strengthening communities and driving regional progress.


The newly elected officers are:

  • Judge Executive Steve Hamilton of Nicholas County – Chair

  • Judge Executive Trille Bottom of Boyle County – Vice Chair

  • Mayor JoEllen Reed of Winchester – Treasurer

  • Mayor Bruce Fraley of Berea – Secretary


In addition, BGADD welcomes three at-large board members:

  • Tony Wilder

  • James Smith

  • Greyson Evans


These individuals exemplify strong leadership and dedication to regional progress. Their collective expertise will help guide BGADD’s efforts to strengthen communities, foster collaboration, and plan strategically for growth across the Bluegrass region.


The appointments reflect BGADD’s mission to “enhance the economy of our communities through planning to maximize resources, projects to promote development, and programs to improve the quality of life for the citizens of the region.”
